He government of President Nasry Asfura and Japan opened a new route of rapprochement to explore investments and strengthen the historical relationship of cooperation between both countries.
The Minister of the Presidency, Juan Carlos García, held a working meeting with the Japanese ambassador to Honduras, Nakai Kazuhiro, in which they addressed specific opportunities for investment, cooperation and development.
During the meeting, the interest of Japanese investors in strategic projects for Hondurasespecially in areas linked to tourism, culture and historical heritage.
One of the highlights was the potential of the Copan Archaeological Park, considered one of the country’s main cultural attractions and a destination with international projection.
The commitment, according to what was discussed, is to promote initiatives that contribute to its promotion, conservation and tourism development.
The authorities also reviewed new areas of bilateral cooperation aimed at strengthening the economic, cultural and friendship ties that Honduras and Japan have maintained for decades.
Both parties agreed on the need to continue creating collaborative spaces that allow attracting investments, promoting sustainable projects and generating opportunities for Hondurans.
He Asfura government has reiterated that one of its objectives is to improve the investment climate, take advantage of the country’s competitive advantages and consolidate relationships with strategic partners that can contribute to economic growth.
The meeting reaffirmed the interest of Honduras and Japan to continue working together on projects that strengthen bilateral cooperation and generate benefits for both nations.
