The service of AThe Government’s Consumer Service has managed 903 complaints during the first half of the year, a figure that represents an increase of 19% compared to the same period in 2025, when 758 were registered, and which is close to the levels of 2024, when there were 954. It should be remembered that in all of 2025, 1,656 claims were handled and that in 2024 they reached 1,710.
According to the data provided by the executive to the ANA, electronic commerce remains the area that generates the most incidents, with 273 complaints, well above any other sector and with a notable increase compared to the 193 in the first half of 2025. It is followed by complaints related to ski resorts (117) and transport (110). Also noteworthy are the increases in mechanical workshops (64) and tourist accommodation (70).
Regarding the resolution of the files, 419 complaints have already been resolved, while 268 are still being processed, 157 have been considered not appropriate, 53 have not been accepted and in another six there has been no agreement. There are currently nine sanctioning files, five of which are open and in the process of processing from the area of Trade and Consumption. Of the total, four correspond to alleged violations of linguistic rights, two to cases of intrusion, one to economic rights, one to misleading advertising and another to the opening of a commercial establishment without authorization.
Among the most frequent reasons for complaints, the service provided in a poor way (111 cases), the lack of efficiency and diligence in the provision of the service (95), requests for the return of the amount paid (90) and problems related to advertising or poor information (62) stand out. Nine complaints have also been registered for the violation of linguistic rights.
The data also shows that almost six out of ten claims (59.25%) come from people residing abroad, while 40.75% correspond to residents in Andorra. Among international claimants, Spanish citizens are by far the largest group, with 407 claims, followed by France (57), Portugal (12) i the argentina (8).
The main form of receipt of complaints by the service has been the electronic form (93.13%). However, they were also presented through tourist offices (3.43%), in person (2.44%), by email (0.66%) and by regular mail (0.33%).
