ChatGPT remains the market leader, but competition in the field of AI chatbots is getting more serious. The latest Comscore data for the United States shows that Claude, the chatbot developed by Anthropic, had the fastest monthly growth among the platforms analyzed.
In March, Claude reached 2.66 million unique desktop visitors, up 130.1% from the previous month. That’s a big difference from better-known rivals, and a sign that more and more use tests alternatives to ChatGPT and geminate.
ChatGPT continues to hold the top spot with 33.86 million unique visitors, but its month-on-month growth was 18.9%. For an already huge service, the advance remains significant, but the pace is slower than its booming competitors.
Users are no longer stuck in a single chatbot
Google Gemini is in second place with 10.66 million visitors and an increase of 29.1%. Microsoft Copilot reached 5.02 million, with an advance of 44.4%.
Behind them, the smaller platforms start to matter. Grok, the chatbot associated with X, had 1.65 million visitors, and DeepSeek and Perplexity remained under the million mark but continue to grow.
