Car demolishes road dividers, crashes into pole and catches fire; PMT reports three injuries

The Municipal Traffic Police (PMT) reported that early this Sunday, April 12, a car skidded on the Roosevelt and 1st road. avenue, zone 7.

He added that the vehicle hit road dividers; It then traveled to the auxiliary lane, where it collided with a pole and caught fire.

Amílcar Montejo, PMT road spokesman, indicated that firefighters transported three young people in delicate condition to Roosevelt Hospital. The victims were not identified.

He explained that the lifeguards, with the support of the PMT and the National Police, carried out maneuvers to rescue the three injured.

According to Montejo, the car was traveling at excessive speed and several pieces were scattered on the asphalt.

In another event, the Volunteer Firefighters reported that a man died at kilometer 21 of the route to the Atlantic. He was run over and died from multiple trauma.
