The body of a man found in bushes off the roadway in Carlsen Field on Monday, has been identified as 29-year-old Jherod Khan.
Police said the body bore gunshot wounds to face and chest.
Khan, of Bon Air Gardens in Arouca, was identified by relatives, after photographs of his bloodied body were posted to social media.
Police said residents of Pig Farm Road in Carlsen Field heard gunshots at around 6am. But Khan’s body was not discovered until 4pm that day.
Farmers in Carlsen Field have since renewed their calls for an increase in police patrols and security operations in the community.
