🔴Congress doubled its spending on payrolls in less than 5 years
This Sunday “Punto final” presented an alarming fact: spending on Congressional payrolls went from S/402.9 million in 2021 to S/906.2 million in 2025. That is, the figure was more than doubled in a context in which the entire country demanded austerity returning from the pandemic. Installation bonuses, clothing, schooling and extensions of the legislature make up a parallel scheme that is difficult to justify. The authorities must make these privileges transparent and stop them.
