Brenda Lodigiani: «Before my success I received many no’s. Proud of my Sinti origins, the days at the camp were the most carefree of my childhood”

The actress, protagonist of the GialappaShow broadcast every Monday on TV8 and Sky, talks about herself starting from her beginnings. «If they hadn’t taken me to Disney Channel I would have stopped. Before I got my chance I was told no many times. Through dance, however, I understood that I could also be a dedicated and focused person: my teachers took me as an example.” Success, for the actress, was a construction: «Santin and Gherarducci also first met me on the radio, in a different context, and then we realized that we could work together». Beauty, however, has never been a problem: “I spend eight hours on makeup to become people different from me, so it’s not something I’ve ever focused on.” Speaking of her Sinti origins, however, she revealed: «I’m proud of it, it’s a part of me. I covered this in my book, Light My Fire: I Remember the summers that I spent at the camp as a child, with my relatives, all artists, who danced and sang: they are the most carefree».
