Tonight, Bosnia’s basketball players hosted Igoke in a play-in match for participation in the playoffs of the regional ABA league. The match ended with a score of 80:76 for Bosnia.
Bosnia entered this duel from the seventh place, and Igokea from the eighth place, and therefore they were the hosts. The Sarajevo team opened the match with a 7:0 run and led 23:19 after the first quarter, but in the second part there was a serious drop in the game, which Igokea took advantage of, gaining a 47:41 advantage at halftime.
The guests opened the third quarter better, at one point they took a 53:43 lead and it seemed that they were close to victory. Then followed Bosnia’s 11:0 run, which completely turned the game around and Bosnia got into a very good position. Igokea also started to play more serious basketball at the end of the third quarter, and in the uncertainty of this period of the game, she still managed to find her way and take the lead of 60:58 into the last part.
After that, Igokea quickly took a new, more comfortable advantage, with a score of 69:61, but Bosnia did not give up yet, and with a little more than two minutes left, the score was 72:71 for Bosnia. Milosavljević then scored twice from the free throw line and Igoke led 73:72, and then Atić, who absolutely took control of the game at the end of the match, scored for 74:73.
Milosavljević then hits one of two free throws, and then Zubac hits for 76:74. Edin Atić then completes the non-series game with a goal for 78:74. In the end, the match ended with 80:76.
Bosnia will thus play against Partizan in the playoffs, while Igoke is waiting for the winner of the duel between Spartak Subotica and Zadar.
