Heydar Aliyev stated in court that he regretted his actions.
“On June 13, I went to the “K-Vibe” festival in Mirabad district wearing a “Kimano” outfit and began to film the festive process live with my brother’s cameraman. I invited a citizen there to dance with me. He resisted the cameraman, saying that he should not record the video. The prevention inspector on duty there asked me not to record the video and to delete it. On what basis should I videotape citizens or IIO employees? I refused my employee’s offer to go with me to the IIB building.
Also, it’s true that I swear in Russian in public. I sincerely regret for doing this,” said the blogger.
The victims asked the court to take legal action against Aliyev.
