Aleksandr Turchin and Andrei Vorobyov
MINSK, 25 June (BelTA) – Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin met with Governor of Russia’s Moscow Oblast Andrei Vorobyov on 25 June, BelTA learned from the government press service.
Moscow Oblast is a leading Russian region, and cooperation with it is of strategic trade and economic importance for Belarus. Moscow Oblast serves as the main hub through which Belarusian goods reach Moscow and other Russian regions.
Belarus and Moscow Oblast have managed to convert their logistical advantage into deep industrial cooperation and mutual long‑term investments.
Positive examples of such cooperation include joint production of diesel engines, elevator equipment, and municipal vehicles on MAZ chassis. Both sides are focused on identifying and implementing new promising projects.
