The Ministry ofNational educationPreschool and Sports announced, Wednesday, the final results of the ordinary session of the unified national examination of baccalaureate 2026, marked by an increase in the number of candidates admitted and the maintenance of a success rate above 64%.
In total, 262,442 public and private education students passed the ordinary session tests, compared to 250,075 during the 2025 session, an increase of 5%. Girls represent nearly six out of ten admissions, with 154,881 winners, or 59% of all candidates who obtained their baccalaureate this year.
The overall success rate stands at 64.8%. It remains higher among girls, whose success rate reaches 68.7%, compared to 60% among boys.
The exams recorded an attendance rate of 94.9% among enrolled candidates, with 404,957 students actually taking the tests. As for independent candidates, 55,556 people took the exams, i.e. an attendance rate of 55.2%, and a success rate of 37.4%.
The 2026 session is also distinguished by the high number of mentions obtained. No less than 161,657 candidates, educated and free alike, obtained their diploma with honors, or 57% of all those admitted. Candidates with disabilities, for their part, posted a success rate of 81.7%, after having benefited, depending on the case, from adjustments to the examination and correction conditions.
The ministry also highlights the continued digitalization of baccalaureate exams, with the strengthening of security systems, in particular thanks to the generalization of anonymous electronic coding of copies for the third consecutive year and the issuance of digital versions of diplomas and transcripts.
At the same time, the authorities have intensified anti-fraud measures, in coordination with the judicial and security services, in order to combat all forms of cheating, whether material or electronic.
Candidates received their results in the early hours of Wednesday via SMS and their institutional email addresses “taalim.ma”. The digital versions of the baccalaureate diplomas will be made available to them from June 18.
In total, 163,179 candidates will take the remedial session on July 2, 3 and 4. The results of this session will be announced on July 11, 2026.
