Today marks the sixth day of the protest of thousands of citizens in front of the Prime Minister, who oppose the tourist project in the protected area of Zvërnec and demand the departure of the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama.
She stated that the government tried to delegitimize the protest and at first they described them as Greeks, then as Russians, while today Rama described them as Iranians.
“At first they told us that we are Greeks, then they told us that we are Russians, while today we also came out as Iranians. The power that has come to the end does not understand that there are good Albanians here, free Albanians who love Albania only for the Albanians”. she said.
According to her, the only request of the citizens is clear: “Prime Minister, RESIGN.
Citizen: All these days we have seen how the government has tried to delegitimize our protest. The power that has come to an end does not understand that there are good Albanians here, free Albanians who love Albania only for Albanians.
We have also seen these days that there is an attempt to misinform that there is a group of coordinators and negotiators, I mean that this protest is of citizens and of free people. It’s yours alone. We are a protest, you are a protest, beware of misinformation, Albania is ours. There are protests in Vlora, in Durrës, in Elbasan, there are protests everywhere, in America, in Germany, in all the countries where Albanians live.
We have seen how our requests have not been taken seriously, today we have only one request to the Prime Minister: GIVE UP.
For 35 years they have lied, deceived, stolen and robbed us of the imagination that we can have another Albania, today we are making history that another uncorrupted, unstolen democratic Albania that belongs only to Albanians is possible.
