The Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (ASK) opened a case against the acting director of the Institute for Public Health, Ivan Samardžić, following serious accusations coming from the health institution itself.
In the report of some of the employees, which Televizija Vijesti had access to, abuse of position, illegal behavior and mobbing are mentioned.
While authorities are investigating the case, the Institute does not want to comment on the accusations until the proceedings are completed.
What was determined by the labor inspectors who were at the Institute remains unknown, but it is known that the Government extended the mandate of Samardžić for another six months.
