Montegiardino is preparing to welcome the sixteenth edition of “Artisti in Casa”, the Festival of Micro-spectacles which on 26 and 27 September will transform the Castle into a large widespread stage.
SAN MARINO – Presented yesterday morning at the Secretariat of State for Tourism, the 16th edition of the event was created, once again, with the aim of bringing artists and the public closer together through an original format: the homes, courtyards, squares and terraces of the village become spaces for shows and performances.
An event which, in sixteen editions, has built its own identity through the contamination between artistic languages and the participation of the community. The public will be able to move freely through the streets of Montegiardino, choosing from time to time which show to follow.
Music, theatre, stand-up comedy, poetry, literature, dance and performative painting will be the protagonists of Saturday 26 September, when they are scheduled 26 microshows distributed among houses, squares and courtyards of the Castle.
Among the artists present are Chiara Raggi, Andrea Amati, Lorenzo Kruger and Max Biondi. The first day will end at 11.30pm with the concert of Bucolic Duowho will bring his repertoire of irony and popular songwriting to Montegiardino.
The Festival will continue on Sunday 27 September with a special day dedicated to children and families. The event will start from 2.30pm “Kids Edition”with clowns, magic and illusionism, animated stories, karaoke and painting workshops.
The aim is to bring the little ones closer to art through a participatory and informal experience, transforming the village into a space for play and creativity for an afternoon. The event will end at 9pm.
“Artists in the House” is promoted by Council of Castello di MontegiardinofromArtisti in Casa cultural association and the brand Marluwith the artistic direction of Antonio Ramberticommitted since the first edition to the search for new talents on the Italian independent scene, and with the support of State Secretariat for Tourism.
An area will also be active during both days Food & Beverage and the exhibition markets.
The Secretary of State for Tourism underlines the value of the event for the territory Federico Pedini Amatiaccording to which “Artisti in Casa” represents a cultural proposal capable of enhancing the Montegiardino Castle and creating a particular relationship between artists and spectators.
Pedini Amati also highlights the role of events in the Castles as a tool for making the Republic known and experienced through culture, art and participation, underlining the value of the event also on the community level and the valorisation of the spaces of the village.
