Anant Ambani Offers Hair At Tirumala : Ananth Ambani, Executive Director of Reliance Industries performed puja at Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple. He participated in the early morning ‘Suprabhat Seva’ on Sunday. On this day, Anant sacrificed his hair following the temple’s centuries-old tradition of shaving after visiting Lord Venkateswara. Which again showed that Lord Venkateswara has no distinction between rich and poor; All devotees are equal in God’s eyes.

Devotees voluntarily shave their heads here as a sign of surrender, humility and unwavering faith in Lord Venkateswara. But Reliance Industries executive director Anant Ambani’s participation in the ritual at the Tirumala temple reflects a long-standing tradition. It also means that in the divine presence of God, worldly acquaintances and worldly possessions are secondary, there personality is negligible.
At the end of this darshan, the Vedic scholars gave him ‘Veda Ashirvachana’ at Ranganayakula Mandap in the temple premises. Not only this, the temple authorities honored Anant Ambani with ‘Shrivari Tirtha Prasad’ and a ceremonial silk shawl.
Reliance will gift 25 electric buses to temple authorities
On this day, Anant Ambani did not stop only by offering devotion. He also announced a major donation for the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD). Reliance Industries has taken initiatives to further strengthen Tirumala’s eco-friendly transport system. According to Anant Ambani, 25 electric (EV) buses worth Tk 27.5 crore will be donated to the temple. He also informed that the company will also bear the responsibility of the salary and other allowances of the 50 drivers required to run these buses.
Besides, Reliance Industries will also assist the temple administration in setting up EV charging stations for smooth operation of the new buses. This initiative will strengthen the eco-friendly transport infrastructure in Tirumala.
All are equal before God
Anant Ambani’s hair donation event has received great response from the common people. Being the son of tycoon Mukesh Ambani, keeping aside all the material pomp and standing in queues of ordinary devotees to perform this ritual is a reminder that devotion and humility to Lord Venkateswara is the ultimate approach to God.
