According to Jamjam reporter, the investigation of this case was ordered by the criminal police in September 2018 at the same time as a deadly conflict occurred in one of the neighborhoods in the south of Tehran. At the same time as the officers arrived at the scene of the incident, it turned out that there was a fight between two brothers with a young man, one of them was seriously injured and died after being taken to the hospital. By investigating the victim’s brother, the officers were able to obtain the identity of the escaped murderer. A few days later, traces of the escaped murderer were found in the house of one of his relatives and he was arrested in one of the neighborhoods of Tehran. The accused confessed to killing the young man and was sent to prison. Some time later, the case of this crime was sent to the 9th branch of the criminal court of a province of Tehran with the issuance of a summons for the trial of the murderer. The parents of the victim demanded revenge for their child’s killer. In the continuation of the meeting, the perpetrator took the defense position and explained the story: I went to the scene of the incident that day and was waiting for one of my friends in the street, but as long as I stayed there was no news of him. I was there for a long time. A man who was one of the residents of that place objected to my presence in the street. Hearing his words, I got nervous and got into a fight with him, so he asked his brother to come over the phone. The young man fought with me in support of his brother. One of the brothers took a knife towards me to scare me so I got into a fight with him. I grabbed the knife so that I wouldn’t get hurt, but the knife hit the same young man’s body. The accused returned to the prison and the judges of the court found the accused guilty and sentenced him to retribution.
Hossein Daroudi, judge of the second branch of the Tehran Criminal Court, confirmed this news and told JamJam: The accused objected to the verdict, and the case was sent to the Supreme Court, but the judges of the 44th branch of the Supreme Court did not consider his objection and confirmed the retribution sentence for the young accused. After that, the case was sent to the execution of sentences and the imprisoned man was sentenced to retribution.
