The Kingdom condemns and denounces the targeting of the UNIFIL site in Lebanon
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom’s condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of targeting a site for the Interim Peacekeeping Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL) in the south of the Lebanese Republic, which led to the death of a soldier and the injury of others.
The Ministry stated in a statement that the Kingdom renews its complete rejection of the targeting of UNIFIL forces, and demands that all aggressors against workers in the peacekeeping, relief and humanitarian fields be held accountable, offering sincere condolences and sympathy to the soldier’s family, while wishing those injured a speedy recovery.
