Deaths and injuries in mutual attacks between Russia and Ukraine and the continuation of military operations
At least six people were killed and about 50 others were injured as a result of Russian attacks targeting several regions in Ukraine, while Kiev announced the implementation of strikes on oil and military facilities inside Russia, at a time when Moscow confirmed targeting Ukrainian military sites and taking control of two new towns.
The Ukrainian authorities reported that a Russian bombing targeted the city of Kharkiv, killing a boy and wounding 32 people, while a missile strike on the Odessa region killed two people and injured 15 others, and a drone attack in the Kherson region killed two people and injured 11 others.
On the other hand, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukrainian forces targeted, for the second time within a week, the main oil refinery in the Russian city of Ufa, in addition to a facility for producing missile components in the Penza region, as part of targeting Russian military capabilities.
For its part, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces carried out strikes targeting fuel, energy and transportation facilities, fuel depots, a logistics center, and a workshop for producing “Neptune” missile engines and their storage sites.
The ministry added that Russian forces took control of the towns of Kobani in Zaporozhye Province and Ukrainsky in Kharkiv Province, and also destroyed five Ukrainian drone boats in the northeastern Black Sea.
This comes in light of the continuing military escalation between the two sides, with the continuation of mutual strikes on vital installations and infrastructure and combat operations on various front lines.
