Today, the Jordanian authorities confirmed that air traffic in Jordanian airspace and Jordanian airports will continue as normal.
Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Authority, Captain Dhaifullah Al-Farajat, said: “The Authority continuously monitors developments at the regional level and coordinates at a high level with the relevant authorities to ensure the safety of air navigation and the smooth flow of movement at Jordanian airports.”
He added that the Authority is taking all necessary precautionary and preventive measures to ensure the safety of travelers and aircraft, stressing that Jordanian airspace operates in accordance with the highest international safety standards.
