she said The Central Operations Room in the Al-Azhar Institutes SectorToday, Sunday, it followed the progress of the statistics exam for students of the literary section of the Al-Azhar secondary school certificate for the academic year 2025/2026 AD, as the students took the exam in a stable and organized atmosphere in various committees at the republic level.
The Central Chamber confirmed that the exams took place regularly, without complaints being registered regarding the exam questions being outside the course. The questions were balanced in terms of the degree of difficulty and took into account the individual differences between the students, in proportion to their different levels.
As part of the field follow-up, Dr. Ahmed Al-Sharqawi, Head of the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector, conducted an inspection tour of a number of committees in the Luxor Al-Azhar region, including the Luxor boys committees and the Al-Amari facility boys committees, to ensure the regular conduct of exams and provide the appropriate atmosphere for students.
The Central Operations Room also continued to coordinate with the Al-Azhar regions and the subsidiary follow-up rooms throughout the day, to ensure rapid response to any developments, with an emphasis on providing support and care to students in a way that contributes to performing exams in an appropriate and disciplined environment.
The Al-Azhar Institutes Sector stressed the continuation of real-time monitoring of the conduct of exams in all governorates, in implementation of the directives of His Eminence the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, to create a suitable climate for his students and ensure the regularity of the exam process until its conclusion.
The total number of students applying for the Al-Azhar secondary school certificate exams this year is 163,677 male and female students, including 82,366 male and female students in the literary section, with 45,633 males and 36,733 female students, while the total number of students in the scientific section is 81,311 male and female students, with 41,468 males and 39,843 male students. Students, through 581 main committees across the Republic that include 10,230 subcommittees, and 22,660 male and female teachers participate in the observation work. This contributes to achieving complete discipline and ensuring the regularity of examinations.
