Deadly traffic accident with a vehicle and a motorcycle involved, occurred at noon on Saturday in Limassol in the Akrotiri area.
According to the Police of British Bases unfortunately, the the male driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scenewhile the his female passenger was taken to the General Hospital Limassol for treatment, bearing injuries that do not threaten her life. Both were wearing full motorcycle protective gear.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested and is interrogated by members of the Police at the British Bases station.
The accident occurred on the M1 road, near the strawberry stand.
The road remains closed due to the traffic accident.
