The Department of Agriculture, in collaboration with the National Skills Standards Authority (NSSA), is recruiting trainees for the National-Level Rubber Tapper Level-1 Training scheduled to be held from 24 August to 7 September 2026.
The training will combine theoretical and practical instruction on rubber tapping techniques in line with NSSA standards. Trainees will receive internationally recognized certification from the Ministry of Labour. Expert trainers will give instruction free of charge. The course offers free accommodation, training uniform, and learning materials. Participants are required to give K8,000 per day for meals over the 15-day training period, totalling K120,000 per trainee.
