Governor of Khost, Maulvi Abdul Rahman Haqqani, Chairman of Industry and Trade of this province, Maulvi Bahai Jan Bilal, visited the ongoing construction works of some factories in Samwat Bagh Industrial Park and closely monitored the progress of the projects.
Khost Governor’s Spokesman Mustagher Garbz told Bakhtar Agency that Maulvi Abdul Rahman Haqqani emphasized on the speed, quality and compliance of the set standards for the construction of factories during the visit.
He added that Mr. Governor called industrial activities as important for economic growth, creation of job opportunities and self-sufficiency of the country and requested the relevant officials to support the industrialists and cooperate for the development of industrial activities.
According to the information, the Khost Industrial Park is being built on 400 acres of land, in which the plan for the construction of 211 different production factories has been taken.
At present, the construction works of nearly 100 factories are going on and the construction process is about 70 percent completed.
