“Also, by invitation, Deputy Prime Minister Aleksa Bečić, Minister of Defense Dragan Krapović and Chief of the General Staff, Brigadier General Miodrag Vuksanović, were present,” they stated in a statement from the Government.
As it was announced, at today’s session, proposals for decisions on the appointment, dismissal and promotion of officers of the Army of Montenegro were discussed and adopted.
“The Council considered and accepted the Report on the situation in the Army of Montenegro for 2025, which presented key indicators of the development of the defense system, the level of operational capability, realized activities and the overall functioning of the Army of Montenegro during the reporting period,” the Government announced.

The Council also, as stated by the Government, decided that the Montenegrin Army, at the invitation of the Republic of France, will participate in the traditional military parade on the occasion of the French national holiday, which will be held on July 14 in Paris, thereby contributing to the celebration of this important date of a friendly country and confirming the commitment to strengthening partner and allied relations.
“The Council considered and accepted the Report on the use of units, i.e. members of the Army of Montenegro in international forces, peacekeeping missions and other activities abroad for the year 2025. It was established that the participation of members of the Army of Montenegro in international missions and operations represented a contribution to the preservation of international peace and security, as well as further strengthening the credibility of Montenegro as a reliable ally and partner,” the statement reads.
