A boat from Oknha Tea Vichet’s GTVC fleet was dispatched to transport an injured man from Koh Rong to Sihanoukville for medical treatment after he was wounded in a traffic accident on the island.
The evacuation took place on the night of April 13.
After learning of the man’s condition, Vichet, Chairman of the Local Party Committee of the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Water Transport Agency, sent a rescue boat to assist in the transfer.
The injured man is now receiving treatment and recovering at a hospital in Sihanoukville.
