Three intoxicated individuals have been arrested following a violent confrontation with police after causing a public disturbance in Phnom Penh.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:20 p.m. on April 12 along Street 105, at the corner of Street 420 in Boeung Trabek Commune, Chamkar Mon District, Phnom Penh.
Residents had reported to authorities that a group of intoxicated people were celebrating the New Year by drinking, shouting, and playing loud music, disrupting the neighborhood and preventing residents from sleeping.
Police were immediately dispatched to the scene to advise the group to stop the disturbance.
However, the individuals refused to comply, leading officers to arrest three suspects and take them to the Chamkar Mon Police Station for questioning.
