With the aim of recognizing the positive impact in the digital environment, the Women who Inspire Award announced the creation of a new category: Digital Leadership, focused on making visible women who use social networks as tools for education, guidance and inspiration.
This initiative responds to the evolution of the communication ecosystem and the increasingly influential role of digital platforms in building communities and disseminating purposeful messages.
Since its creation in 2024, the award’s mission has been to highlight women who generate significant changes in society. With this new category, it expands its reach to those content creators who promote constructive dialogue and promote values through their publications.
“Social networks have immense power: they can inform, connect and transform realities. With this category we seek to recognize those who use that power responsibly, sowing well-being and building community from integrity,” said the journalist. Emelyn Baldera, creator of the award.
The line of Digital Leadership will evaluate proposals that integrate original content, positive messages and specific actions such as campaigns or initiatives with social impact. Likewise, the narrative quality, the purposeful approach and the ability to generate reflection, education or solutions through digital formats will be taken into account.
The award ceremony will be held on June 23 at the Teatro de Casa San Pablo, under the artistic production of Elka Núñez, president of Resolto, who leads the conceptualization and staging of the event for the third consecutive year.
He Women who Inspire Award It has the support of Banco Popular and the Ministry of Culture, reaffirming the support of the business and institutional sector for initiatives that promote female leadership.
“Recognizing the positive impact on digital not only celebrates achievements, it also promotes responsible communication models that can be replicated. We hope that this category motivates more creators to think about the common good,” added Baldera.
Through this platform, the award seeks to strengthen a network of leading women who inspire new generations, promote sisterhood and consolidate a culture of recognition of merit and female legacy in all areas.
