In the midst of the vehicular chaos, ANDE affirms that it is carrying out work for the temporary transfer, while the origin of the breakdown is sought by excavating in the Botanical Port area.
The “law of the jungle” has been in force since this morning on route PY03 in Mariano Roque Alonso, from the detour to Remanso to Primer Presidente and also along said artery until the access to the Costanera de Asunción. The technical manager of ANDE, Tito Ocarizexplained that they received the report of the problem around 3:00 this Monday. He explained that the fault is located in an underground transmission line that goes from the Botanical Port to the Mariano Roque Alonso substation.
He highlighted that officials from the institution are currently in the area working to locate the exact point of the breakdown.

At the same time, he stated that they are already making transfers to other transmission lines. “We are lucky that the temperature is not high and we can transfer to other nearby substations. The Distribution people are working on these maneuvers,” he highlighted.

The engineer stressed that it is still early to talk about the cause of the breakdown, but recalled that weeks ago there was a similar problem on the line that leaves the Botánico towards Mburucuyá. On that occasion, the damage arose because the underground cables had a loss of insulation at a very high point. water accumulation.
Although he clarified that although nothing can be confirmed yet, he highlighted that perhaps the problem has been the same: the entry of rainwater due to loss of insulation.
