The President of the United States, Donald Trump, praised the astronauts of the Artemis program on Friday after their splashdown in the Pacific, which culminated their trip around the Moon.
“Congratulations to the magnificent and talented crew of Artemis II. The entire trip was spectacular, the landing was perfect, and as President of the United States, I couldn’t be prouder!” Trump declared on Truth Social.
“I hope to see you soon in the White House. We will do it again and then, the next stage, Mars!” said the president, making clear American plans to send missions to the red planet. (YO)
