Afrim Tafa has been dismissed from his position as the director of the Durrës police.
The decision was taken by Krepolice Skender Hita, after the tragic accident last Sunday when a drunk killed two minors in the area of the former Këneta in Durrës, while a third was injured.
Initially Tafa was removed from office after the serious incident, then today Hita made the decision to dismiss him.
Thus, Tafa was appointed as head of sector at Interpol, a position he has held before, before becoming the chief police officer of Durrës.
