The Algerian club will enter a closed training session starting tomorrow, Wednesday, at the National Technical Center in Sidi Moussa (Algiers), in preparation for the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final against the Egyptian club Zamalek, scheduled for Saturday at the July 5 stadium, according to what the Al-Asmi club announced today in a statement.
According to the media program revealed by the club, Commander Saadi Redouani’s companions will hold the first training session in Sidi Moussa on Wednesday at five o’clock in the evening, preceded by a mixed area with the media.
For its part, Zamalek Club will begin its preparations in Algeria on Thursday on the grounds of the Nelson Mandela Stadium annex in Baraki, starting at eight in the evening, with a mixed area for the press being programmed before the start of the session.
Prior to the match, the coaches of the two teams, accompanied by a player from each team, will hold a press conference on Friday morning, where the media meeting will begin at eleven in the morning in the presence of USM Alger coach Lamine Ndiaye and captain Saadi Redouani, and will continue at eleven thirty in the morning with Zamalek coach Motamed Gamal and his player Omar Jabeur.
The last training session for the Algerian Federation will be held on Friday at six o’clock in the evening in Sidi Moussa, and it will be partially open to the media during the first 15 minutes, while the Egyptian team will hold its last session at the beginning of the evening at eight o’clock in the evening in the July 5 stadium annex, with the first 15 minutes open to the media.
USM Algeria qualified for the final after eliminating Olympique Safi of Morocco, while Zamalek reached the final at the expense of CS Belouizdad. The return match will be held on Saturday, May 16, at Cairo International Stadium.
