A contingent of 120 personnel from the Indian Army arrived in Cambodia on Sunday, to participate in the bilateral military exercise CINBAX-II with the Royal Cambodian Army (RCA), to enhance military cooperation and strengthen defence relations between the two countries.
According to a post on the social media page of the RCA, the exercise will take place over 15 days, from Sunday, at the Techo Sen Phnom Thom Mreas RCAF Training Centre in Samraong Tong district, Kampong Speu province.

Held under the theme “Joint Counter-Terrorism and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief Operations,” the exercise will include both Command Post Exercises (CPX) and Field Training Exercises (FTX). The activities will enhance joint operational capabilities, improve coordination between the two forces, and promote the exchange of professional expertise.
CINBAX-II marks the second edition of the joint exercise between the Indian Army and the RCA, following the successful first edition held in the India in 2024. The exercise reflects the growing defence cooperation and strategic partnership between Cambodia and India.
