Caravan.
As part of the celebration of the birthday of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, the Loubna El Amouri Foundation for charitable works, in partnership with the commune of Krifat in the province of Fquih Ben Salah and the delegation of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, organized a free multidisciplinary medical caravan, on May 1 and 2, 2026, in the center of Douar El Jadid.
This humanitarian initiative ended on Saturday May 2 at 6:00 p.m., under rigorous organizational conditions, reflecting collective mobilization and responsible commitment from the various stakeholders. It has made it possible to offer quality health and social services for the benefit of the inhabitants of the town and neighboring areas, particularly vulnerable populations.
The caravan recorded a high turnout, with 1,840 beneficiaries having received free medical consultations and care covering several specialties, including: general medicine, internal medicine, electrocardiogram, gynecology-obstetrics, early detection of breast and cervical cancer, stomatology, urology and endocrinology. As part of strengthening the solidarity dimension of this initiative, the organizers distributed aid in kind for the benefit of several beneficiaries on site, particularly vulnerable categories, after medical consultations and the provision of medication as appropriate. This aid included 460 blankets, 300 djellabas, 400 shirts for women, as well as 1,200 bottles of water, 1,200 bottles of juice and 4,000 units of confectionery, in a humanitarian approach aimed at lightening daily burdens and strengthening the values of solidarity and social cohesion.
Free medicines were also provided to beneficiaries, with a total value estimated at around 400,000 dirhams, allowing patients to continue their treatments in good conditions and reducing the cost of care for the families concerned.
The success of this operation is attributed to the synergy of the efforts of the various partners, in particular the Loubna El Amouri Foundation for charitable works, which continues its active commitment to social and health action, as well as the municipality of Krifat, which provided the necessary logistical means. The local authorities, represented by the province, the Auxiliary Forces, Civil Protection, the Royal Gendarmerie and the local authorities, also contributed to the security and good organization of this caravan.
This initiative confirms, once again, the importance of the partnership between institutional and associative actors in bringing health services closer to citizens, particularly in rural areas, strengthening equitable access to care and consolidating the values of solidarity and social mutual assistance.
