The committee’s report touched on a summary of the reasons for submitting the request to revoke membership, explaining that the representatives against whom the request to revoke membership was submitted took a position that was inconsistent with the parliamentary oath and national duty, as they took a position criticizing the measures taken by the state against those who glorify the sinful Iranian attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain, especially revoking the citizenship of the perpetrators of those shameful acts, and those whose citizenship was subsequently revoked, and their speech included criticism of the measures taken by the state and questioning their justice, and that was During the House of Representatives session held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, and during the discussion of Decree Law No. (13) of 2024 amending Article (7) of the Judicial Authority Law issued by Decree Law No. (42) of 2002.
They also voted to reject the decree law, which aroused the ire of the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the anger of His Majesty the King, who confirmed in his speech to the media on April 30, 2026 that the ordeal that the nation went through revealed faces and dropped the masks, when the Kingdom of Bahrain was subjected to a sinful Iranian aggression that targeted its security, stability, and the safety of its people. His Majesty expressed his deep anger at what happened, stressing that his anger is nothing but a sincere translation of anger. An entire people, asking His Majesty how he would not be angry when he saw those whom the nation had entrusted with its capabilities stabbing its side, and those whom the people had elected to represent it standing alongside the traitors whom public opinion had condemned and denounced their heinous act.
Regarding the legislative institution, His Majesty the King expressed his regret at the fact that some legislators sided with traitors, instead of being a shield for the nation and a voice for truth. His Majesty affirmed his concern for the unity of ranks and the purity of the Parliament. His Majesty believes that whoever is willing to stand with those who attacked the nation should go to them and join them. There is no place among us for those who support our enemies. His Majesty the King added, “The Parliament is a trust, and representation is an honor, not an honor.” Those whose hands were stained by betrayal of the homeland deserve it. There is no place for them among our honorable people, and they have no honor in representing them after today. Souls will not calm down and stabilize and life will return to normal except by purging the ranks of every traitor and accomplice.”
