SAN MARINO – New experience outside the borders of the Republic of San Marino, in extremely prestigious tournaments, for the team Walked football set up very recently by the FSGC. An opportunity to test yourself with other much more experienced and experienced teams who share the passion for sporting activity and socializing with the biancazzurro collective.
For the San Marino Football Federation this is just another milestone to be celebrated with pride: in just three years from the start of the project, the number of members has more than quadrupled, going from seven to over thirty. The success of initiatives like this, times first of all the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, as well as physical and mental well-being, also involves joining events and tournaments such as the 23rd Mauro Sadocco Memorial – organized at the Novarello Sports Center (NO) last weekend.
It has now become one of the reference tournaments of the Walking football Italian and international, registered the registration of 49 teams – involved on 8 playing fields. To demonstrate the attractiveness of this event, it is enough to mention the presence of the Cariocas Rio de Janeiro, the Brazilian team making their first trip outside the national borders, but also of Czech, Swedish, Hungarian and Basque teams. For the FSGC walking football team, a full of emotions and wonderful memories – in addition to a convincing competitiveness, given by participation in the Over 50 tournament, despite an average age well over 60 years. In the knowledge that the result is the last element with which to measure the goodness of this project, we can be sure that everyone welcomed with great enthusiasm and satisfaction – for example – the goal by Andrea Gualtieri.
