Now he is provoking Putin and claiming he wants him arrested, announcing that he wants to be the leader of the new Russia after the “revolution” and have a role in the “transfer of power”.
His provocative statements were made in an interview with the famous media personality Ksenia Sobchak, who is popularly known as Putin’s “godmother”.
Remeslo claims that Russia is saddled with problems in the war and that the “root cause” of everything is Putin – “the man at the very top who controls everything”.
The statements come after Viktoria Bonya, a pro-Kremlin influencer with 13 million followers, recently directly warned Putin about Russia’s economic crisis, telling him the people were ready to “explode”.
Unlike opposition leader Alexei Navalny, who is believed to have died in prison, Remeslo, 42, claims to have sprung from the system itself.
“I am using this interview to address those who are in the system and are still not sure whether to leave it. People, do not fear anything, we will surely win and nothing will happen to you. And believe me, there is still a little time to hang on and everything will be solved.”
He claims he wants to create a platform and attract people who are afraid to speak out publicly against Putin.
The former propagandist loyal to Putin claims that “by the end of 2026 or the beginning of 2027, profound changes will take place, a collapse of the old system will occur and a new one will be born.” He said there would be a “palace coup and a revolution in Russia,” but it would not be a military coup.
“It will be something very quiet. Like it happened in 1953 when Stalin died and was succeeded by Nikita Khrushchev. We will wake up in another country,” he said.
According to him, people from the government and the presidential administration “secretly hate Putin.”
“They just hate it because it’s taken everything away from them and they can’t enjoy the privileges like they used to. It’s all already decided there. And when these internal conflicts build up . . .”
Sobchak asked him who could be the new leader of Russia, given that Putin seems almost untouchable.
“If I tell who he is, he will be arrested tomorrow,” replied Craft.
However, he mentioned three possible names: current Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin (60), Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov (46) and General Alexei Dyumin (53), Putin’s former bodyguard.
According to him, the new Russia after Putin will be right-wing, with a strong economy, low taxes and openness to foreign investment.
Earlier in March, Remeslo called Putin a “war criminal, liar and thief,” after which he was committed to a psychiatric clinic, which he described as a form of Soviet-era repression. He was later released and continued his harsh criticism.
There are allegations that he may be behind the security services who approve of his attacks on Putin.
Once a fierce opponent of Navalny, he now says that “no one deserves to die under such conditions” and that he feels guilty about his previous treatment of him.
