Vice-President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Nan Ni Ni Aye received Mr Tariq Karim, Ambassador of Pakistan to Myanmar, at the hall of the President’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
At the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on further strengthening of friendly relations between Myanmar and Pakistan, measures to develop education and women’s affairs, and cooperation in organizing medical symposia, exchanging experiences in medical treatment and conducting medical research.
Also, present at the meeting were Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Naing Min Kyaw and officials. Officials accompanied the ambassador of Pakistan to Myanmar. — MNA/TTA
