Bir Lehlou (Sahrawi Republic), May 5, 2026 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted today, Tuesday, the rear bases of the Moroccan occupation army in the Smara sector, inflicting significant losses among enemy forces.
A military communiqué issued by the Ministry of National Defense highlighted that SPLA continues to carry out its military operations, targeting Moroccan Royal Army bases across various formations of the enemy’s forward and rear defensive walls.
In this context, advanced detachments of our army carried out a concentrated bombardment this Tuesday afternoon, targeting the enemy’s rear bases on the outskirts of the city of Smara.
