“KamAZ” truck hit a pedestrian crossing the road in Marhamat district of Andijan region. As a result, the 39-year-old pedestrian died at the scene. A criminal case has been initiated and an investigation is underway.

He died on the spot after a truck hit a pedestrian in Marhamat district of Andijan region. This is the press service of the regional IIB is reporting.
The incident happened on April 26 at around 17:05 on the 41st kilometer of the highway D-140 “Shahrikhan – Asaka – Marhamat – border of the Kyrgyz Republic” passing through the territory of “Mustaqililik” MFY, Marhamat district.
It was reported that a 20-year-old driver, while driving a KamAZ-5511 truck, did not see a pedestrian crossing the road at the pedestrian crossing and hit him.
A 39-year-old pedestrian died at the scene of the accident.
A criminal case has been initiated by the IIB of Marhamat district. An investigation is currently underway.
