The MP of the European Union, Nikola Zirojević, announced the arrest of the suspects who filmed the vehicle of the director of the Police Directorate, Lazar Šćepanović.
“Colleagues from GenDem told me that on one occasion a colleague from Georgia was almost deprived of her freedom at the airport in Lilongwe (Malawi, Africa) because she tried to film the president who was traveling somewhere at the time,” Zirojević wrote on the X network.
He says that, until today, it was the only such case he had heard of.
“For the program on RTCG that will be broadcast on Monday, I stated that it is a serious problem if someone follows the movements of any protected person, thinking, of course, of members of the OKG. There is no law that prohibits a citizen from photographing or recording an escort vehicle. Thus, the practice of depriving citizens who have absolutely nothing to do with crime for photographing or recording an escort vehicle is not normal. When it comes to their safety, they are ready for anything. When it comes to the safety of some of us, they pretend silly”, Zirojević said.
But, he adds, just slowly, there will be time to talk about that too.
“PS Be careful when you take selfies, if you accidentally get caught by the director of the police, you can be taken into custody,” concluded the representative of the European Union.
