The Special Rapporteur does not recognize the Kosovo Ombudsman, and they say that the British report “does not have a clear status”

The Specialist Chambers have stated that the only authority that can deal with processes within the court is the institution of the Ombudsman of the Specialist Court.
This is what they told RTK from The Hague, after the institution of the People’s Advocate of the Republic of Kosovo had concerns regarding the trial process in The Hague and also published a report by a British organization that confirmed the concerns.
The Special Court has said that it is not clear what the status of the British report is.
“According to the Constitution of Kosovo, it is the Ombudsperson of the Specialized Chambers who has the mandate for the processes in the Court and not the Ombudsperson of Kosovo. It is not clear what the status of the report is,” the Specialist Chamber said. /GazetaExpress/
