This Sunday morning, May 3, personnel from the National Electricity Corporation (CNEL) carry out repowering and expansion work on the electrical network.
The work started at 06:00 and will continue until 09:00, according to what was announced by CNEL.
In the territory, José Luis Neira, director of the Financial and Economic Analysis Unit (UAFE), in addition to the National Public Contracting Service (Sercop) and Secretary General of Public Integrity, reported that the work on the electrical system is being supervised, which includes the construction of the Dos Cerritos-T subtransmission line of Salitre and the change of 69 kV connections.
These works guarantee the continuity of the service to the inhabitants of several towns in Guayas, such as Samborondón and Daule, he explained.
Due to the complexity of the work, technical personnel from several Business Units, such as Manabí, Los Ríos, El Oro, Milagro and Guayas, the El Oro Business Units, participate in the work.

“Electric service will be restored soon, we will keep you informed”; he explained.
These works aim to benefit more than 100,000 users that will experience an improvement in service stability, reduction in voltage variations and a decrease in unscheduled interruptions, CNEL detailed.
CNEL explained that the construction of this subtransmission line involves an investment of $3 million. (YO)
