Port: The Tanger Med Group closed the 2025 financial year with a gross consolidated turnover of 13 billion dirhams.
It is up 16%, marking a positive dynamic for all activities operated by the Group. On the port side, the Group manages the Tanger Med port complex, the leading port in the Mediterranean and Africa and 17th worldwide in the latest ranking of container ports according to Alphaliner. In 2025, the port complex reached a new historic milestone by surpassing the threshold of 11 million TEU containers handled, thus consolidating its rank among the world’s major port platforms.
Through its participation in “Marsa Maroc”, the Group also operates 35 terminals specializing in the processing of containers and bulk goods, spread across 21 ports. In 2025, Marsa Maroc handled 67 million tonnes of goods, an increase of 6% compared to 2024, confirming the growth dynamic of its port activities. In total, the overall volume handled by the Group in 2025, including the performances of TMPA (manager of the Tanger Med port complex) and Marsa Maroc, reached 209 million tonnes of goods and 12.42 million TEU containers.
On the industrial side, the Group is the planner and developer of 3,000 hectares of economic activity zones welcoming more than 1,500 companies operating in the automotive, aeronautics, textiles, agri-food and logistics sectors. In 2025, these zones generated an overall business volume of MAD 188 billion and totaled the creation of 145,000 jobs.
