Valuation: On the sidelines of the International Agricultural Show in Morocco (SIAM) 2026, the Société d’Exploitation de l’olive (SEO), a subsidiary of Lesieur Cristal, won 1st Prize in the National Olive Oil Competition in Morocco, in the Medium Green Fruity category, for its Kalea olive oil from the Marrakech-Safi region.
This distinction strongly marks the presence of Lesieur Cristal at SIAM, as a leading agro-industrial player committed to promoting national agricultural sectors, the company indicates in a press release.
Awarded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, this prize rewards an integrated quality approach, supported by the SEO from orchard management to crushing and storage conditions.
Made from olives grown on Lesieur Cristal farms, particularly in the Marrakech-Safi region, Kalea olive oil illustrates mastered agricultural know-how, based on respect for the terroir and high quality standards at each stage of production.
With this trophy, Lesieur Cristal concludes a SIAM 2026 rich in perspectives, illustrating its driving role in the modernization of agricultural sectors and the promotion of the excellence of Moroccan know-how.
Lesieur Cristal has an integrated olive sector structured around four farms of more than 1,400 ha. The Group operates an estate in Kelaâ des Sraghna, through SEO, where a crushing unit is located, as well as three other farms in the Meknes region (Oliveco, Rass Jerry and Domaines Jawahra). All of these farms are GlobalG.AP version 6 certified, attesting to responsible and controlled agricultural practices. Lesieur Cristal has also renewed its status as an aggregator of the olive industry, confirming its lasting commitment to the structuring, quality and development of Moroccan olive growing.
