The Sakhrah Youth Center, in partnership with the Ajloun Culture Directorate, implemented a two-day training on handicrafts “pottery and straw making” and promoting them through social media sites, in the presence of Ajloun Youth Director Issa Al-Tawalba, and with the participation of 60 young men and women from the center’s members.
The aim of the training, which was presented by trainer Hala Al-Serafi, was to introduce participants to the basic skills of pottery painting, how to use colors, and paint and decoration techniques, in addition to providing them with professional skills that will help them engage in the labor market and open small production projects, in addition to learning about the mechanisms of publishing effective content on social media sites in its various forms.
Al-Serafi talked about the most prominent applications used in editing videos and photos via mobile phones and computers, and strategies for creating content.
The head of the center, Abeer Al-Momani, indicated that the training focused on developing the manual and creative skills of the participants, and enabling them to turn these skills into a source of income.
