In the National Library of Belarus exhibition opened contemporary Tajik artists “The Beauty of Tajikistan: a legacy for the future.” It takes place within the framework of the Days of Culture of Tajikistan in the Republic of Belarus.
The exhibition features 38 paintings – works by both recognized masters and young authors. The audience was shown paintings and graphics, still lifes and landscapes inspired by nature, culture and everyday life of Tajikistan.
The creative delegation of Tajikistan is headed by the Minister of Culture Matlubahon Sattoriyon. At the opening, she emphasized the importance of cultural cooperation between the two countries.

According to her, the development of cultural ties is supported by the friendly policies of the Presidents of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, which contributes to the expansion of interaction not only in culture, but also in other areas.
The minister noted that the art of Tajikistan reflects the connection between the past and the future, traditions and modernity, and the works presented convey love for the native land and respect for national roots.
Minister of Culture of Belarus Marat Markov called the exhibition the first event within the framework of the Culture Days of Tajikistan and expressed hope for the continuation of joint projects.

He noted that the countries are united by common values and historical memory, including the participation of Tajiks in the liberation of Belarus during the Great Patriotic War.
According to him, such exhibitions help to better understand each other’s culture and help strengthen friendship between peoples.
Artist Eraj Olimov gave a tour of the exhibition and said that the key criterion for selecting works is to convey the nature, culture and identity of Tajikistan.
He noted that the national art school is characterized by a combination of academic heritage and modern trends, while the works preserve the national spirit and connection with the homeland.

The Culture Days events will continue with film screenings at the Pobeda cinema. Viewers will be presented with the films “Life is Beautiful”, “In Search of Truth” and “The Path of Wrath” in Tajik with Russian subtitles.
On April 28, a gala concert of art masters of Tajikistan is planned with the participation of the State Symphony Orchestra. The program includes folk melodies and world hits.
