A shiny cube that blocks or modulates the light on stage, a structure that breaks down into rotating walls covered in antique mirrors where the actors wander, lost or bold, protected by a reassuring shadow or totally exposed under a merciless light, suddenly vulnerable. The unmoving engine that moves – even in a literal sense – the beautiful scenography designed by Dario Gessati is Dubois, the servant so shrewd and sure of his intelligence and knowledge of the world in which he lives that he has chosen for himself the role of invisible director of the entire plot.
