Cooperation: A strategic cooperation agreement was concluded between the Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) aimed at sharing expertise, developing skills, supporting research and continuously improving the quality of care.
The Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health (FM6SS) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Wednesday in Vienna, marking a significant step forward in strengthening international collaborations in the service of health. This ambitious partnership paves the way for concrete actions in several key areas, notably radiotherapeutic oncology, medical imaging, nuclear medicine, medical physics, as well as nutrition, indicates the FM6SS in a press release. It is based on a dynamic of cooperation aimed at sharing expertise, developing skills, supporting research and continuously improving the quality of care.
In this context, the FM6SS is committed to actively contributing to international initiatives supported by the IAEA, in particular through training programs, expert missions and support for structuring projects such as “Rays of Hope”. This collaboration will also promote the reception of international talents and strengthen the contribution to the global effort in favor of low and middle income countries. This agreement constitutes a strategic lever to consolidate excellence in skills, stimulate innovation in health and affirm Morocco’s positioning as a regional hub in medical sciences. The signing of this partnership was also marked by a visit to the IAEA laboratories, allowing visitors to discover cutting-edge technologies and research programs that are helping to shape the medicine of tomorrow on a global scale. Through this alliance, the FM6SS and the IAEA reaffirm their common commitment to meaningful cooperation, oriented towards impact and in the service of health systems and the well-being of patients.
