A collision between a trailer and a motorcycle left a man dead this Thursday afternoon in San Rafael de Escazú
According to the Fire Department report, the incident occurred on Route 27, about 300 meters before the tollbooth minutes before 3:00 p.m.
Three units from the institution and resources from the Costa Rican Red Cross were present at the site to address the emergency.
However, after the arrival of rescue forces, the driver of the motorcycle was declared dead.
“A male patient without vital signs is confirmed, pressed under the truck. We are awaiting authorization from the judicial authorities to proceed with the release of the body,” the Red Cross reported.
According to the Waze application, dams are reported at the site after the accident.
At the moment, the identity of the victim, as well as the causes of the accident, are unknown.
