A premiere with a bittersweet flavor. Adrián Luna Martinetti lost by unanimous decision to Davey Grant in his debut in the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship), during the event UFC Las Vegas 116.
The Ecuadorian, who became the fifth representative of the country in the UFC after names like marlon Chito Vera and Michael Moralesfailed to impose its rhythm in the early stages of the fight. The Englishman took the initiative and took advantage of the spaces to score key points on the cards.
As the rounds went by, Luna showed a better version. In the second and third round achievement connect in a better way and even carried out important demolitions that allowed him to balance the actions within the octagon.
Despite the reaction, the judges saw the winner grant in all three rounds, giving him the victory by unanimous decision. A determination that did not agree to the tricolor fighter, who considered that his closing fight could have been valued more highly.
